What is a War Horse?
Horses have been used throughout time in the military and law enforcement. Horses were used to transport soldiers into battle in the Calvary. They were used to move heavy equipment and artillery before vehicles could access the battlefield. There have been many different uses for "War Horses" over the course of history.
Military Rifles and Pistols can be called "Old War Horses".
Military vehicles, such as Tanks, Jeeps, and HMMWVs (Humvees) were also known as "War Horses".
